Approach and Scope of Work

The kiosk structures and panels will be manufactured and installed by Hoke Outdoor Advertising. Each and every structure is produced and installed to the cities engineered specifications. Click here for a pdf flyer of sign options.

Panels will be installed for the participant within ten working days from the receipt of the order. We require the participant to give a 30-day notice for removal of panels. BIA provides an on-going maintenance policy. Should kiosks need attention of any kind, we can respond within 48 hours.

The Sign Program, as described and approved by the city ordinance, will be made available to all builders and apartment complexes in the municipality at one price, regardless of trade affiliations. Panel position on each individual structures will be determined on a first come, first serve basis. If a structure is full, we try to accommodate the participant by making the structure doublewide or by providing an additional structure, if parkway or median permits.

  • The BIA will submit a graphic (plot map) to the city or county staff for each location requested within ten (10) working days.
  • Once city staff approves the proposed locations, we will install the Kiosk structure and Panel within ten (10) working days.

The exact sign locations shall be subject to review and approval by the City Staff prior to the installation of the signs. The BIA shall obtain an encroachment permit from the City prior to installation of any kiosk sign structure in a public right-of-way. No kiosk sign shall be placed within the clear sight triangle of a public right-of-way or private driveway, as defined in the Development Code. It will be the responsibility of the BIA to clear underground utilities through DIG ALERT.

The BIA will:
  • Act as a consultant and point of contact to the participant’s sales & marketing departments, to determine their Off-Site Directional Sign Plan.
  • Act as the point of contact for the City and respond to all City concerns and/or requests.
  • Directly invoice all participants for services rendered.

The Sign Program will:

  • Provide off-site signage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Complement the participant’s print, radio, and television advertising.
  • Effectively direct the new homebuyer through the community to your project.
  • Offer the homebuyer a uniform and consistent look throughout the community.

New in late 2008, the BIA has introduced a new innovative way for participants to manage their Off-Site Directional Sign Plan! The BIA has partnered with Municipal Advertising Services, LLC. Using Municipal Advertising Services, LLC's Townsigns Management Systemtm participants will now be able to utilize this web-based application to streamline their operations, including easily locate available locations and submit orders.
