The Mill Creek Wetlands: Recreation and Restoration Demonstration Project is a unique man-made project that creates, protects and restores the native ecosystems and has the ability to treat approximately 2,050 acre-feet of water run-off per year. Also participating in the tour were representatives from Regional Water Control Board- Region 8, Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA) and the NMC Builders. The tour concluded with a roundtable discussion on statewide regulatory issues, new development in the Inland Empire and regional economic challenges.
