Gordon Nichols serves as the Senior Director of Government Affairs of the BIA Baldy View Chapter.
Mr. Nichols has a wide range of experience in the professional building industry which includes work as an architectural designer for private commercial development and a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Cal Poly Pomona University. He has also worked in municipal government throughout the Inland Empire as a redevelopment and business advancement specialist focusing on media marketing campaigns.
Under Gordon’s watch the Government Affairs program has received four consecutive National Association of Homebuilder Awards for outstanding local government affair efforts.
As an architectural draftsman and project specialist in Riverside, CA, Gordon has gained a well-rounded knowledge of the building development standards and municipal code requirements. Working for the City of Fontana’s Economic Development department he fostered partnerships between the private and public sectors, acting as a business development liaison and creating citywide marketing strategies.
As Southern California native, Gordon has also served as a private speech writer/presentation consultant, designer for Kroh Architects and volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity.
